Feeding

Feed high-quality puppy food in 3–4 small meals a day. Keep fresh water available at all times and avoid sudden food changes to prevent tummy upset. Ask your vet before adding new treats or supplements.

Potty Training

Take your puppy out first thing in the morning, after meals, play, and naps. Use the same potty spot and a simple cue word. Praise and reward immediately after they go outside. Accidents inside should be cleaned well, without scolding.

Crate Training

Make the crate a cozy, safe den with a soft bed and safe chew toy. Start with short, positive sessions and never use the crate as punishment. Take your puppy out often so they don’t have to potty in the crate.

Socialization

Gently expose your puppy to new people, dogs, sounds, and places once your vet says it's safe. Keep experiences positive and short, and let your puppy move away if they feel unsure. Avoid dog parks until vaccines are complete.

Grooming

Brush your puppy regularly to prevent mats and help them enjoy handling. Check ears, nails, and teeth weekly. Use puppy-safe shampoo and keep baths short and warm. Start nail trims and tooth brushing early with lots of treats.

Vet Care

Schedule your first vet visit within a few days of coming home. Follow your vet’s vaccination and deworming plan. Call your vet right away if you notice vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, low energy, or if your puppy just seems “off.”

First 48 Hours

Keep the first two days calm and predictable. Offer a quiet sleeping area, stick to the breeder's feeding schedule, and limit visitors. Expect some whining as your puppy adjusts. Gentle reassurance and routine help them settle in.
