Genetic Health Panels
Frequency: Pre-breeding (Once)
Comprehensive DNA screening via Embark covering over 200 genetic markers, including PRA.
Basic Cardiac Evaluation
Frequency: Bi-annually
Veterinary auscultation for evidence of cardiac murmurs or heart rate irregularities, ensuring structural heart health before and throughout breeding years.
Testing Methods and Standards

OFA Eye Certification (CAER)
Frequency: Annually
Evaluated by board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists to screen for cataracts, distichiasis, and other ocular anomalies consistent with breed standards.
Patellar Luxation Certification
Frequency: After 12 Months (Once)
Manual clinical examination of knee joint stability to rule out patellar luxation, providing certification of healthy joint alignment and functional mobility.
